How did Joshua Dallas start his career?

Joshua Dallas studied acting at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in England and the New Shakespeare Company in New York before settling in Los Angeles to pursue a career on the stage. He started his acting career in 2006 with an action-drama series Ultimate Force. In 2008, he was featured in the BBC television program Doctor Who.

In 2018, he was cast as Fandral in Marvel’s movie Thor after Irish actor Stuart Towsend withdrew just days before filming began. Dallas looked up to Errol Flynn for inspiration for the character, and he watched a lot of his movies. He did not return in the Thor sequel. In the following two films, he was replaced by Zachary Levi. 

He debuted as Prince Charming in the ABC sitcom Once Upon a Time in 2011 from where he gathered immense popularity. Dallas did not return for Season 7 in 2017 after six seasons. The following year, he returned for the show’s series finale. He played Ben on the show from 2018 to 21. He has also made appearances in TV series like CSI, Money, Five, Hawaii Five-O.

Dallas appeared in the movies Red Tails and Sidekicks. Zootopia, The Descent 2, Ghost Machine, and The Boxer have all included Joshua Dallas as a voice actor.

Joshua Dallas is a happily married person. In 2003, while working at the Johanna, Windsor, he met British actress Lara Pulver. Joshua and Lara tied the knot in 2007 and divorced in 2011. After his divorce from Lara Pulver, Joshua began seeing his Once Upon a Time co-star Ginnifer Goodwin. Dallas and Goodwin got engaged in October 2013 and they married on 12th April 2014 in California. They have two children together.
