Where was Alba Flores born and raised?

Alba Flores is the only daughter to her parents Antonio Flores (father), a musician and composer, and  Ana Villa (mother), a theatrical producer. She was born on 27th October 1986 in the capital city of Spain, Madrid.  Her whole family was somehow connected to the screen. Her grandmother was Lola Flores, who was an actress, singer herself. Alba is a niece of Lolita Flores and Rosario Flores, who are singers. Not only this, but her grandfather was also Antonio Gonzalez, who was a famous Spanish guitarist and a singer. From the age of 13, she studied drama interpretation and trained to play the piano. Alba went to the University of Madrid for her studies.

Personal Life

Alba Flores started her acting career in 2005 when she got a small role in a Spanish movie, El calentito. In the television series El Comisario, she played in one episode in 2006. She played another role in 2008 in tv series The Ulysses Syndrome.  Then for her better acting skills, Alba Flores started training at the Corazza Acting Studio.

In 2013 Alba Flores again got a chance to play in the Antenna 3 series El Tiempo entre costuras, where she was a servant of the protagonist, Jamila. She also played in the movie Vicente Ferrer which took place in India; she was an Indian woman.

As she was working in Vis a Vis with Alex Pina, Alba Flores was asked if she is interested in playing a role in the famous series worldwide, La Casa de Papel, also known as Money Heist. She didn’t have to go through an audition process; instead, Pina wrote a role. Alba Flores played as a Nairobi, a robbers group that makes a world’s biggest heist in the series. She was one of the main characters in the series that was in charge of some necessary stuff.

Netflix acquired Money Heist and globally stream it in late 2017, that’s when it starts gaining attention. It became the most viewed non-English series on Netflix. Due to gaining more popularity over the whole world, Netflix demands the additional season of Money Heist. At the International Emmy Awards, this show won best drama series as well.
