Vera Farmiga’s full name is Vera Ann Farmiga born in Clifton city of New Jersey on 6th August 1973. She was born in a Ukrainian family, her father Michael Farmiga and her mother Lubomyra “Luba”, her older brother Victor and other younger siblings namely Stephan, Nadia, Alexander, Laryssa, and lastly Taissa. Also, her grandparents Nadia and Theodor Spas. Her family turned from being Catholic to Protestant Christian during her childhood.
Since Vera Farmiga was raised in a Ukrainian family, her native language was Ukrainian but living in the American community. She started learning English at the age of six only after joining kindergarten.
