Nebahat Cehre is a Turkish actress and model. She won Miss Turkey in 1960. Nebahat gained popularity after her lead role in the Turkish drama series, “Ask-I Memnu” and a historical drama series, “Muhtesem Yuzyil.” Nebahat also represented Turkey in Miss Universe 1965 and Miss World 1960.

Nebahat Cehre was born on 15^th March 1944 in Samsun, Black Sea Region, Turkey. Her full name is Hilal Nebahat Cehre and she was born to a building contractor, Izzet Cehre, and his wife, Muzeyyen Cehre. Her mother was a housewife. Nebahat grew up in an Islamic household with her older half-brother named Nail Cehre and a younger brother named Ohran Cehre. Her father died of a heart attack.

Nebahat has Turkish nationality and mixed ethnicity with Laz and Georgian descent. She has the birth sign, Pisces. After the death of her father, Nebahat moved to Istanbul along with her mother and half-brother. Her mother Izzet married three times and the death of her father greatly affected Nebahat’s childhood.
